Volunteer

People and the planet are at the heart of Petit Miracles. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and helpful volunteers who can come into our Shepherds Bush makerspace and shop to support the charity, and help to create beautiful, one off pieces of furniture, while learning something new. You will be supporting an independent local charity, gaining valuable experience, and meeting new people. We believe that volunteering should be mutually beneficial. In return for your contributions, we’ll offer references, and provide valuable training, allowing you to use this opportunity to enhance your portfolio, skills, and cv.

A volunteer at Petit Miracles, a furniture upcycling charity, learning how to use an electric sander under the guidance of the team, showcasing skill-building and sustainability in action.

We’re looking for:

  • Eco-conscious, creative, and enthusiastic individuals.
  • Tutors / trainers / teachers with furniture restoration experience.
  • Qualified builders or carpenters to offer DIY workshops to disadvantaged Londoners.
  • Individuals who teach health and safety and basic DIY skills.
  • Marketing / photography volunteers.
  • Any and all artists / creative types that want to contribute to the pop-up shop experience.
